FAQ

HOW LONG DOES THE EXTEND TREATMENT TAKE?

The initial appointment will take around 2 hours, the follow up appointments to infill the lashes will take between 60 and 90 minutes.

HOW DO EXTEND INDIVIDUAL EYELASH EXTENSIONS WORK?

As a Nouveau Lashes qualified lash artist I apply one individual lash extension onto one of your natural lashes, resulting in beautiful sets of semi-permanent lashes.
Your results will look authentic and natural. You can relax whilst I transform your lashes.

DO EXTENSIONS DAMAGE YOUR NATURAL LASHES?

When applied correctly, individual lash extensions do not damage your natural lashes and are completely safe. Nouveau Lashes artists use lightweight lashes and follow Weight for Weight Guidelines during Extend treatments to ensure that your lash extensions won’t weight down your natural lashes, minimising the risk of damage. Make sure you don’t pull on your lash extensions to avoid any lash loss and follow the correct aftercare advice to keep your lashes healthy.

HOW DO I LOOK AFTER EXTEND LASHES?

AFTER YOUR EXTEND TREATMENT:

  • For the first 48 hours after any Extend treatment it’s important not to allow water to come in to contact with your lashes

  • For 2 days afterwards do not steam your face, use a steam bath, swim or wash your face with hot water

  • Do not use waterproof mascara

  • Use oil free make-up remover if mascara is worn (only use a water-based mascara)

  • Do not attempt to perm or use lash curlers on Nouveau Lashes extensions

  • Don’t rub your eyes when washing your face – always pat the lashes dry after cleansing

  • Ensure lashes are not manipulated into different positions (e.g. when sleeping, cleansing the face, applying moisturiser or cosmetics)
